The WWE SmackDown main event was awesome. Of course, we all expected Roman Reigns and Finn Balor to go out there and deliver. But Michael Cole was in surprisingly fine form as well. The legendary announcer cried himself hoarse as he took us through the ebbs and flows of the Universal Championship match.
The prelude to the match, which was a backstage segment with Paul Heyman and Kayla Braxton, was also a lot of fun. Heyman received a phone call from Brock Lesnar, who will be on WWE SmackDown at WWE MSG.

Isn't it absolutely insane that Toni Storm wasn't booked to be in a match on WWE SmackDown but she was in a backstage segment with Dolph Ziggler? Let's hope that the fact that she was cheering for Boogs isn't a hint at a possible romantic storyline!
Storm wasn't the only woman to not compete on this week's show. No one did. Yes, there just wasn't a women's match at all.
