WWE SmackDown ended with a showdown between Kevin Owens and Roman Reigns in the ring, where Owens got the last laugh, making more than one SK Wrestling writer believe that he will come out on the losing end at the Royal Rumble.
Sami Zayn interference saves Apollo Crews from taking a loss to Big E. Little disappointed there was no follow up with Apollo and Roman Reigns from last week. #Smackdown
Breaking Vince Russo and Jim Cornette update HERE.
Why wouldn't Jey Uso come out on WWE SmackDown this week and help Roman Reigns out? If he is absent during the show, the least the commentators could help fill in the blanks and make a story up explaining why he was nowhere to be seen at all.
Also, why would those in the WWE SmackDown creative team tease that Roman Reigns and Apollo Crews are going to be a unit, making all of Twitter go crazy with anticipation and then just not follow up?
If you can make up an excuse for Kevin Owens' kayfabe absence from WWE SmackDown, why not fill in the actual gaps in the show and the narrative, one has to wonder.
