In fact, the WWE SmackDown main event would have been far more interesting and intriguing had Paul Heyman actually stepped into the ring against Adam Pearce, which would have been the real surprise. The only person who did not see the twist at the end coming was Adam Pearce, judging from the expression on his face. Shouldn't someone who outsmarted Paul Heyman last week be portrayed as smarter than he was this week?

Also, anyone who cuts a promo saying that he is not in the arena is most likely to show up in a hoodie later during the show, as we saw with Kevin Owens this week. And let's be honest, we all want to see Paul E. Dangerously wrestle just to see how it all pans out.
