Bayley picked up the win over Ember Moon this week on SmackDown Live ahead of her title defense against Charlotte Flair this weekend at Clash of Champions. Moon pointed out to Bayley in their backstage segment that she didn't understand her reasons for attacking Becky Lynch with a steel chair in recent weeks and claimed that it was because of Sasha Banks.
Banks and Bayley have seemingly become heels in recent weeks and after the duo attacked Charlotte with a chair last week on SmackDown Live, it was thought that she had turned face. Charlotte was still acting like a heel whilst on commentary throughout the match, which means that this match is heel vs heel at Clash of Champions.
WWE could have waited until after her match with Charlotte to turn Bayley since the WWE Universe has no idea what to cheer when Charlotte and Bayley are in the ring together now. Such is the confusion, they have to resort to chanting for Becky Lynch since she seemingly still has issues with both of these fellow former Four Horsewomen.
