With Maryse watching on from ringside at SummerSlam, The Miz received an object from his wife during his match against Daniel Bryan and used it to punch his opponent in the head before quickly covering him for the 1-2-3.

It’s quite clear that the two long-term rivals will be involved in multiple matches over the next couple of months, but why would “The A-Lister” simply agree to another match against the man he defeated, albeit unfairly, on Sunday?

Nothing is currently being advertised for this rivalry on SmackDown Live, but it wouldn’t be at all surprising if the eight-time Intercontinental champion refused to grant D-Bry a rematch.
