Kurt Angle's expression...priceless
Kurt Angle's expression...priceless

Under siege.

For those of you who thought those were just fanciful words uttered by Shane McMahon in his backstage segment with Kurt Angle, the look of incredulity on the Raw GM's face when the Blue Brand violated the Raw locker room told a tale of its own.

Notice has been served. It's full throttle ahead to Survivor Series now.

But after such a blatant and defiant attack, will Raw repay SmackDown's transgressions in kind with an attack of their own on Tuesday?

We're as intrigued as you are to see how it all pans out, combing through the myriad mention-worthy points as we preview this week's episode of SmackDown Live!

As always, if there is a particular storyline development or angle that you'd like to see, enlighten us with your comments down below!

#1 Under Siege

Will we see Raw take over SmackDown Live in similar fashion?
Will we see Raw take over SmackDown Live in similar fashion?

SmackDown Live made a statement of intent, dismantling anyone in sight including unsuspecting backstage staff, as they ran roughshod over Raw at the behest of Shane McMahon.

The battle lines have been drawn and the Superstars of SmackDown Live have won the battle... but there is still much of the war to be fought; something that Shane McMahon will be wary of as he returns to the Blue brand on Tuesday.

Will he be met in kind by Kurt Angle and the denizens of Monday Night Raw? Or has SmackDown Live's unannounced ambush left the flagship show of the WWE in dire need of an emergency regroup?

#2 AJ Styles next for Jinder Mahal?

Will AJ Styles be able to establish himself as Jinder Mahal's next challenger?
Will AJ Styles be able to establish himself as Jinder Mahal's next challenger?

AJ Styles' Pele Kick to Jinder Mahal on SmackDown Live last week set in motion a chain of events that sees him go one on one with Sunil Singh, one of Modern Day Maharaja's sidekicks.

But as has been any match in which Mahal and co. have been involved in till date, you can bet your house that they will find a way to engineer the numbers game to their advantage.

Will AJ Styles overcome the odds and establish himself as a future contender for Jinder Mahal's WWE Championship?

Or will the Modern Day Maharaja and co. find a way to screw him over and prevent him from even challenging for the Title in the first place?

#3 Baron Corbin shoots for revenge

Will the US Champion be able to avenge his loss to Sin Cara?
Will the US Champion be able to avenge his loss to Sin Cara?

If the new United States Champion on SmackDown Live, Baron Corbin, thought life got any easier after he saw off the challenge of AJ Styles, Sin Cara's victory last week should have been a rude reminder to the contrary.

In the land of opportunity, where there's always another Superstar waiting to grab his chance, there is no rest for the weary.

And it's a concept that Corbin seems to have warmed to pretty quickly, as he seeks out the masked Superstar again this week on SmackDown to avenge his shock loss.

Will Baron Corbin set the record straight and put Sin Cara in his place?

Or will the Luchador prove that his count out win last week wasn't a complete fluke, and in the process, also earn himself a US Title opportunity?

#4 New Day and Usos on the same page

The New Day and the Usos battle, shoulder to shoulder
The New Day and the Usos do battle, shoulder to shoulder

After their bruising battle at Hell in a Cell, the Usos and the New Day professed their mutual respect for one another...while also belittling the remainder of the competition in the process — something that didn't sit well with the team of Chad Gable and Shelton Benjamin.

And this week on SmackDown Live, they will have a chance to do something about it when they team with Rusev and Aiden English to take on the New Day and the Tag Champions in a grand 8-man Tag Team match.

Will the admiration that the Usos and the New Day share hold firm in the face of their challenge?

Or, with the aid of Rusev and Aiden English, will Shelton Benjamin and Chad Gable claim a landmark victory and establish themselves as worthy challengers to the Usos SmackDown Tag Titles?

#5 Time for payback?

How will Shane McMahon deal with Kevin Owens and Sami Zayn?
How will Shane McMahon deal with Kevin Owens and Sami Zayn?

Sami Zayn's renewed friendship with Kevin Owens seems to be stronger than ever, as amply displayed by the victory they pulled off against the formidable team of Randy Orton and Shinsuke Nakamura last week.

But they have much to answer for when Shane McMahon returns to SmackDown Live to clean house... and hold Sami Zayn accountable for the victory that he stripped him off at Hell in a Cell.

How will Kevin Owens and his best friend react when they come face to face with the Commissioner of SmackDown Live?

And given that Shane O'Mac doesn't seem to be in the best of moods, as evinced on Raw, I'd be on my toes if I were them.
