It has been a while since we have seen Big E in action. He was expected to be a part of the five-man team that represented WWE SmackDown at Survivor Series 2020, but that didn’t happen. Although he did make an appearance during the pay-per-view, his role was restricted to accompanying Kofi Kingston and Xavier Woods in their match against The Street Profits.

Big E is expected to return to in-ring action on WWE SmackDown tonight. It would be good to see him demand answers as to why he was snubbed from the Survivor Series match. That can account for a good reason to keep him motivated to run rampage through the SmackDown roster. It will be interesting to see what the creative have planned for Big E after his huge split from The New Day.
Earlier, there were a few backstage reports which suggested Big E will soon find himself in a title picture on WWE SmackDown. He is on a convincing run, and if the creative want to put the gold on him, this would be the perfect time. Even if he is not going to be a champion right now; Big E can certainly be involved in a couple of good title feuds before Royal Rumble 2021.
