Edge was backstage on SmackDown and said that the match with Rollins affected his mindset and his daily life but now that he beat Seth, he can focus on securing the Universal title.
Seth Rollins congratulated Edge and said the loss taught him something. He said he admired the WWE Hall Of Famer and earned Seth's respect. Rollins said that he wanted to be more like him.
Roman Reigns showed up backstage and walked into his locker room with Paul Heyman before SmackDown headed back to the ring.
Shinsuke Nakamura & Rick Boogs vs. Dirty Dawgs on SmackDown
Boogs and Ziggler started off the match and Rick went for his trademark air guitar move before dropping Dolph on the mat. Roode was tagged in and they tried to isolate Boogs and hit a nekcbreaker on the apron.
Boogs wiped Ziggler out from the apron before tagging in Nakamura. Roode took a big kick before the former Tag Team Champion came back in and Nakamura was setting up for the finish but Roode broke it up.
Ziggler wiped out the champ on the outside before we headed for another break on SmackDown.
