Finn Balor was in the ring and Kayla Braxton asked him about Bray Wyatt and his attack on the inaugural Universal Champion last week. Balor challenged him to a match at SummerSlam and Bray appeared on the Titantron to say that 'the Fiend' accepted his challenge. The Fiend showed up too to threaten the Demon King and it was still creepy even though he was on the Titantron and not in the ring.

Charlotte Flair was backstage and was apalled by the fact that she wasn't on the card for SummerSlam. She said that she will have a match and it will be on e of the best on the card. She teased an 'amazing' opponent but did not reveal who it was.
Shane McMahon was out as the special ring announcer next and it was time for the main even of the night. He introduced out guest timekeeper Elias and the guest referee, Drew Mcintyre before we headed for a commercial break.
