Apollo dodged a powerbomb but took the Stunner on SmackDown. The Champion was nearly pinned but Azeez hit the Nigerian Nail on Owens, ending the match in a disqualification.

Result: Kevin Owens def. Apollo Crews via DQ but Apollo retained the Intercontinental title

Backstage, it looked like Roman was unhappy with Jey over him getting a tag team title match. Reigns was not happy that things did not go according to 'his plan' for once.

Ricky Boogs was back to support Shinsuke. The man has excellent taste in guitars.

Shinsuke Nakamura vs. Chad Gable on SmackDown

Otis attacked Nakamura before the match on SmackDown. The referee kicked it off and Gable hit two German Suplexes before Shinsuke retaliated with big kicks. Gable was caught in a submission move.

The match was still going on when Corbin came out in a suit and just walked away with the crown that Shinsuke stole from him. In the ring, Nakamura hit the Kinshasa and picked up the win.
