Drew McIntyre was out next and laid out an open challenge on SmackDown. Sami Zayn came out with some new entrance music and accepted the challenge. Sami called Drew the 'new kid on the block' before calling himself the 'best superstar on SmackDown'.

Zayn ran away from Drew as the match began before McIntyre grabbed him at ringside and tossed the former IC Champion at the barricades. After a break, Sami was in control and hit an elbow drop before Drew hit a series of suplexes.
Drew set up for the claymore but Sami rolled out of the ring and dropped McIntyre on the ropes to get the advantage back. Drew ran at him in the corner and Sami sidestepped, sending the former WWE Champion into the ring post.
Sami went for the Helluva Kick but his showboating allowed Drew to sneak in a Claymore and pick up the win.
