WWE has announced that The Kabuki Warriors’ Asuka & Kairi Sane will defend their Women’s Tag Team titles against Becky Lynch & Charlotte Flair, Bayley & Sasha Banks and Alexa Bliss & Nikki Cross at Starrcade.
The Fatal 4-Way match, which will stream live on the WWE Network on Sunday, December 1, will represent the toughest challenge yet for The Kabuki Warriors, who won the Women’s Tag Team titles from Bliss & Cross at Hell in a Cell on October 6.
Since then, the Japanese duo have retained their titles against Dakota Kai & Tegan Nox on an episode of NXT, while they also defeated Lynch & Flair on RAW.
Their only defeat as a tag team over the last three months came earlier in November when Natalya joined forces with Flair to make Asuka tap out during a tag match on RAW, but the titles were not on the line.
Alexa Bliss’ in-ring return
Sportskeeda’s Tom Colohue recently reported that Alexa Bliss has been absent from WWE programming lately because she was not needed in any storylines, so the company granted her some time off.
Her last in-ring appearance came at Hell in a Cell, where she lost the tag titles with Nikki Cross against the current Women’s Tag Team Champions.
