Now, what makes the WWE Championship picture at WWE Summerslam 2017 so interesting is that Mr Money in the Bank, Baron Corbin, is waiting in the wings to swoop down and cash in his guaranteed WWE Championship contract -- especially if Shinsuke Nakamura wins to become the new champion.
As we've spoken about Vince McMahon's hate for predictability, we might very well see him hold the "Lone Wolf's" cash in back just because everyone's expecting it. It would be a curveball for sure and it would give the WWE Universe a chance to bask in "The King of Strong Style's" ascension to the throne.
Corbin could just cash in on the episode of WWE Smackdown right after WWE Summerslam 2017 in order to change things up a little bit.
