Dolph Ziggler vs The Miz was originally planned for SummerSlam
Dolph Ziggler vs The Miz was a match that was officially announced for SummerSlam a few weeks ago, to the point where the two men were set to sign the contracts for the match this week on Raw. Ziggler and Miz faced off at SummerSlam back in 2014, but they won't be given the chance to step back in the ring as opponents in Toronto this weekend.

Instead, Ziggler was played by The Miz and it was announced on Raw that he will be facing Goldberg as part of The Biggest Party of the Summer instead. The Miz will probably be part of proceedings at some point since he's been part of most of the build-up to this match, but he has been replaced by WWE Hall of Famer Goldberg as the former WCW star looks to take an example out of Ziggler.
