#1. Roman Reigns vs Daniel Bryan

Buddy Murphy vs Roman Reigns could be the plan for SummerSlam

Roman Reigns was attacked backstage at SmackDown Live almost two weeks ago and it was later revealed that it was a superstar who had access to a forklift. Daniel Bryan was the name that The Wrestling Observer pushed out following the announcement and stated that the two men would face off at SummerSlam.

This was already ahead of a match that was already expected to happen between Samoa Joe and Roman Reigns, but neither of these matches are now expected to take place since Buddy Murphy stated that Rowan was the man who he saw attack Reigns on SmackDown Live. It's also worth noting that there is now a plan according to WrestleVotes that would see Murphy take on Reigns at SummerSlam as well, but plans surrounding Reigns have changed many times in recent weeks.
