Seth Rollins conquered The Beast at WrestleMania to win the Universal championship but he couldn't celebrate his run for very long. Brock Lesnar won the Money in the Bank contract earlier this year and cashed it in to win back his title.

But Rollins was not yet prepared to give up on his gold. He clawed his way back to the title shot and finally got the opportunity to face Lesnar at SummerSlam. In the process, he also mocked Lesnar during a segment on Miz TV.
Needless to say, those taunts didn't go down very well with Brock Lesnar. Next week, he attacked Rollins and subjected him to several F5s including three on a steel chair. Later, he went on to brutalize Rollins, even more, when he delivered an F5 that caused Rollins to land on a stretcher.

Fast forward to SummerSlam, both Superstars were prepared to deliver their best inside the ring. Lesnar began to assert his dominance as soon as the bell rang. However, he could not keep Rollins from fighting back.
Rollins injured Lesnar with the help of the post to gain momentum. When Lesnar got back on his feet he returned the favor and started clearing the announce table to deliver an F5. But Rollins found a small window of opportunity and quickly got on top of the turnbuckle.

He then took a high leap and jumped straight at Lesnar as both went right through the table. Rollins then dragged Lesnar back inside the ring and used the 'Burn it Down' chants to fire himself up. He then used a Slingblade to get Lesnar at the right spot and took him down with his signature Curb Stomp.
Rollins pinned Lesnar to win back his Universal title and left his opponent crawling on the floor.
