#1. Bray Wyatt is now 7-1 from nine matches as The Fiend following SummerSlam
It was initially a fantastic night for The Fiend as he finally dethroned The Monster Among Men to become a two-time Universal Champion at SummerSlam. Bray Wyatt and Braun Strowman have been feuding for a number of months and it took two Sister Abigails on the wood under the ring canvas in order to defeat his former friend and continue his unbeaten record as The Fiend at SummerSlam.
WWE has no plans for these former AEW wrestlers? Here's why!
Fans were worried that Strowman would defeat The Fiend and become the first WWE star to be able to pin Wyatt's alter-ego since his debut but this wasn't the case. It now means that Wyatt has been able to retain his record of only ever losing a match to Goldberg while as his Fiend persona.
The Fiend's record after nine WWE matches is now 7-1 since his Hell in a Cell match against Seth Rollins had a strange finish where no actual win or loss result was recorded.
Roman Reigns made his return to the company as part of last night's SummerSlam event, attacking The Fiend. He could now hand The Fiend one of his toughest challenges in WWE to date.
