Former RAW Women's Champion Asuka could return to WWE programming at SummerSlam 2021. She last appeared at Money in the Bank last month where she competed in the women's ladder match.

Fans have been speculating about the reason for her sudden absence from WWE TV. Dave Meltzer on the Wrestling Observer Newsletter gave an update on her WWE status, claiming that she is fine and is just not being used creatively.

That could change this Saturday as Asuka could return and possibly confront whoever wins the RAW Women's Championship match between Nikki A.S.H., Charlotte Flair, and Rhea Ripley.

SmackDown Women's Champion Bianca Belair is scheduled to defend her title against Sasha Banks at WWE SummerSlam 2021 this Saturday. However, there is a lot of uncertainty around the bout and it might get canceled.

While WWE is still announcing the two to have a match at the event, we might see a last-minute replacement for The Boss in the form of a returning Toni Storm. The former NXT UK Women's Champion made her SmackDown debut last month but surprisingly hasn't been used on the show since.
