WWE SummerSlam: 3 Things WWE subtly told us through Goldberg vs Ziggler

Goldberg vs Ziggler was what it should have been!
Goldberg vs Ziggler was what it should have been!

#1 This was not Goldberg's last match

After Goldberg was announced to compete at SummerSlam against Dolph Ziggler this past Monday night on RAW, The Miz mentioned that the Hall of Famer's match at the Biggest Party of the Summer could be his last. While nothing has been confirmed from the wrestler himself or WWE, this does not look to be the case as Goldberg might return to the ring again, sometime in the future.

After getting squashed in less than two minutes, Ziggler called him out again on the microphone, only to receive two more thunderous spears from the Myth. After laying out Ziggler for the third time, Goldberg went up to the ramp and screamed "I'm back!" to the camera and the fans in the arena.

Who knows what's next for him in WWE? One major possibility is a showdown against the NXT Superstar Matt Riddle, who has been calling him out numerous times in the past several months. It is a trend in the world of professional wrestling to go out on your back, putting over a younger superstar, and a WrestleMania match against Riddle could be the perfect way for Goldberg to pass the torch.
