#4 Not Free-birding the title
The New Day was in India last month and I posed the same question that is on everyone's mind before them, during an interview with Sportskeeda. If Kofi Kingston were to become the WWE Champion at WrestleMania, would all three of them become Champions? The trio is never at a loss for words, but they did not answer the question then.
And this is odd because if you remember back to the time when The New Day were Tag Team Champions, they defended the titles under the Freebird rule. Which means that all three of them were Champions, and they could take turns defending the title. But Kofi Kingston's win just seems like it's only him holding the prestigious belt.
The very fact that such a thing is happening is indicative of a split down the line, I feel. It's not like the other two members are less talented than Kingston.
