#2. It becomes a 5-on-5 elimination match
Survivor Series is a six-hour show this year, with two of those hours dedicated to the kickoff show, and so far the only match confirmed for the two-hour extravaganza is the fourth Cruiserweight Championship match in six weeks between Enzo Amore and Kalisto.
Many people only watch the kickoff show for the one or two matches that take place during the broadcast, so it seems a little odd that yet another encounter between these two is essentially all fans have to look forward to during the preamble.
Original plans reportedly called for Kalisto, Cedric Alexander, Gran Metalik, Mustafa Ali & Rich Swann to face Enzo, Ariya Daivari, Drew Gulak, Noam Dar & Tony Nese in a 5-on-5 elimination match at Survivor Series. Instead, it took place without eliminations in a nine-minute match on Raw on 23 October.
Still, given the lack of cruiserweights on the card for the PPV, don’t put it past other members of the 205 Live roster to get involved and turn this match into a 5-on-5 battle.
