We are finally done with the final dual-branded pay-per-view of the year with WWE Survivor Series 2017 and it was Monday Night Raw that won the night 4 to 3 over Smackdown Live. But, an awesome show was overshadowed by a confusing and lacklustre main event, unfortunately.

While the rest of the night was filled with big moments for a number of deserving superstars, the Traditional 5-on-5 Men's Elimination match left a lot to be desired. So, without any further ado, let's get into our list of the biggest winners and losers from WWE Survivor Series 2017:

Loser #4) Kalisto

Well, you could include the entire Cruiserweight Division over here but for the moment, we'll pick Enzo Amore's latest victim, Kalisto. The Lucha Warrior lost his WWE Cruiserweight Championship match to the Loudmouth and it seems like his career in 205 Live has been condemned to failure already.

It speaks volumes that Enzo is the best thing about the Cruiserweight Divison right now.

Winner #4) Baron Corbin

There was a lot of fear going into WWE Survivor Series 2017 that Baron Corbin was going to end up on the wrong side of Champion vs Champion match against The Miz. After all, The Lone Wolf has found himself losing matches he needs to be winning in order to be taken seriously.

But, not only was he given a big victory over The A-Lister, he was made to look really good in the process. He battled back from an injured knee, overcame The Miztourage, and picked up the win clean as a whistle.

Loser #3) Becky Lynch

When Becky Lynch was given the spot of team captain of Smackdown Live for the Traditional 5-on-5 Women's Elimination match, there were some high hopes that she would be returning to some of her former glory.

Instead, she suffered the embarrassment of being the first person to be eliminated mere moments into the encounter. And, what a terrible way to be eliminated as well, on the back of a blind tag leading to a roll-up from Bayley.

Winner #3) The Usos

I've said it before and I'll say it again, The Usos are in a league of their own. Jimmy and Jey have been head and shoulders above any other tag team in the WWE and they showed it against Sheamus and Cesaro in the Champions vs Champions Tag Team match.

All four men put on a superb showing but the twins were just that little bit better - especially towards the end. The finishing sequence was a thing of beauty.

Loser #2) Finn Balor and Samoa Joe

When Finn Balor and Samoa Joe booked their place in the Traditional 5-on-5 Men's Elimination match at WWE Survivor Series 2017, the fans had high hopes that they would be given a real chance to shine.

Instead, what we got was the pair of them being eliminated right off the bat for Team Raw. Where they should have been afforded the opportunity to excel, they were grounded in what was a terrible main event.

Winner #2) Braun Strowman

I think we can safely say that Braun Strowman was the only man to benefit from the Traditional 5-on-5 Men's Elimination Match at WWE Survivor Series 2017. He enjoyed three eliminations with his famed Running Powerslam during the encounter but even made an impact after his team had won the whole thing.

"The Monster Among Men" showed that he had no patience for petty games as he took out Triple H after the bell.

Loser #1) Bobby Roode and Shinsuke Nakamura

Faltering with every step

Bobby Roode and Shinsuke Nakamura are the two brightest new additions to the Smackdown Live roster. They are geared to be the future of the brand in the coming months, so one would imagine that they would be the most important members of the Smackdown Live team in the main event.

Instead, they did absolutely nothing of any import before being eliminated in short succession by Braun Strowman. This match did more harm to their faltering careers than good.

Winner #1) AJ Styles

What a great match
What a great match

When you get thrown into a match against Brock Lesnar these days, you pretty much expect it to be a one-sided encounter that ends fairly quickly. After all, the likes of Braun Strowman and Samoa Joe all failed to get a good match out of The Beast Incarnate so what hope was there for AJ Styles? After all, he's a much smaller man.

But then, AJ showed just why he is considered the best wrestler in the WWE today. "The Phenomenal One" crafted a superb match against Lesnar, and in such a way that he came out of the encounter looking even stronger despite his loss.

You truly are Phenomenal, Mr Styles.
