There are a number of combustible elements in this Survivor Series match

Over the years, Sasha Banks and Asuka have had some interesting feuds, but this is the first time the two women have collided with brand supremacy on the line. Banks is a former five-time RAW Women's Champion and more commonly associated with the Red brand. But at Survivor Series The Boss will be representing SmackDown in her match against The Empress of Tomorrow.

Asuka's reign as the RAW Women's Champion began at SummerSlam where she defeated Sasha Banks. Banks, on the other hand, won the SmackDown Women's Championship at Hell in a Cell and was able to retain her title against Bayley a few weeks ago on the Blue brand to set up an interesting match at Survivor Series.

Even though there are no Championships on the line as part of Survivor Series, there are still several combustible elements in this match. Here are five potential finishes for Asuka vs. Sasha Banks at Survivor Series.

#5. Sasha Banks takes the win for SmackDown at Survivor Series

Asuka has been the reigning RAW Women's Champion since SummerSlam where she defeated 'The Boss' Sasha Banks to win the title.

Asuka has already proved that she is the most dominant woman on RAW, but this weekend she has to defeat a woman from SmackDown. Over the years, Banks has proved that she's able to defeat Asuka when the stakes are at their highest and it could be her time tonight.

Banks have only recently won the SmackDown Women's Championship and is looking over her shoulder at a number of challengers heading at present, so a win for her at Survivor Series would be a huge boost.

The Boss has been the target of Carmella in recent weeks, but she may not be the only woman who interferes in the match on Sunday, and a win at Survivor Series would send a direct message to both Carmella and the SmackDown Women's locker room.

#4. Asuka takes the win for RAW at Survivor Series

Asuka's accomplishments speak for themselves, she is the holder of WWE's longest undefeated streak, a two-time RAW Women's Champion, one-time SmackDown Women's Champion, one-time NXT Women's Champion, and the 2020 Miss Money in the Bank winner. The Empress of Tomorrow has been one of the stand out stars throughout the COVID-19 pandemic and has defended her Championship against every on-comer.

At present, the Women's Division on Monday Night RAW is focused on Survivor Series which means that Asuka doesn't actually have any credible challengers for her Championship on the Red brand.

Sasha Banks will be off guard as she looks over her shoulder for the likes of Carmella, Bayley, and even Billie Kay, which means that Asuka could pick up the win here based on mentality alone.

Asuka has found her way past Sasha Banks on numerous occasions and Survivor Series could be a walk in the park for The Empress of Tomorrow if she's firing on all cylinders. Even though there are no Championships on the line, brand dominance is enough to force both of these women to put on a fantastic show.

#3. The match ends via disqualification because of interference at Survivor Series

The thing about Survivor Series is that a win is still technically a win, which means that someone from RAW could interfere in the match and attack Sasha Banks but SmackDown would then take the win.

This means that whoever costs their team that point would become an enemy of their own brand, especially if the outcome of the show is decided by just one point.

There are several women who could interfere on behalf of RAW and SmackDown since these are the two main Champions on the brand and they will be ripe for someone to send a message.

Many points have been won at Survivor Series over the years due to disqualification, but if these stars are smart then they will wait until after the match when the win has already been decided so that they can then send a much clearer message. It would also be beneficial to attack someone who has already competed in a lengthy match since they're much less likely to fight back.

#2. Carmella interferes in the match and costs Sasha Banks the win at Survivor Series

Let's be honest, for the past three weeks the WWE Universe has watched as Carmella has targetted the SmackDown Women's Champion but hasn't actually gained a response.

This past Friday night on SmackDown, Carmella sent another message to Sasha Banks as she was building up the match for Survivor Series alongside Asuka. Interestingly, The Empress of Tomorrow stood by and watched as Carmella attacked Banks since she is a RAW Superstar and technically it isn't any of her business.

Carmella wants to be taken seriously which is why she has decided to target the main woman on the Blue brand. Banks hasn't responded to any of the attacks over the past few weeks so The Untouchable star could decide to make an even bigger statement tonight at Survivor Series.

Would Carmella cost her own brand a point in order to get Sasha Banks' attention one more time? Or will Carmella wait until after the match and make sure that The Boss knows that there's a target on her back?

#1. Alexa Bliss makes her presence known and costs Team RAW at Survivor Series

Alexa Bliss is a former RAW Women's Champion and at present, she is one of the most feared women on the roster. Whilst it's likely that The Fiend will target The Undertaker as part of this year's Survivor Series show, Alexa Bliss could decide to have her own fun.

Bliss hasn't been able to challenge for the Women's Championship in a number of months and could decide that whilst Asuka has her attention on Sasha Banks, it would be the perfect time to make her aware that she wants a title shot.

Bliss and The Fiend don't care about brand dominance or anything that is happening tonight at Survivor Series so they would happily interfere and send whatever message they need to.

Asuka has no challenger for her Championship coming out of Survivor Series and with TLC right around the corner, a match between Alexa Bliss and Asuka could be a huge selling point. After all, this isn't the same woman that won those Championships a few years ago, she has The Fiend in her corner now, which makes her much more dangerous.
