AJ Styles will have been WWE champion for over a year by Survivor Series

The Miz and Daniel Bryan are set to face off once again at Super Show Down, with the winner becoming the new #1 contender for the WWE title.

While fans would love to see Bryan in this slot at Survivor Series, it makes more sense for The Miz to be the one to capture the WWE title, and for Bryan to finally defeat his nemesis at WrestleMania.

The Miz has been on an incredible run since late 2016 and has more than proven that he deserves to be in the main-event picture once again. Styles' title run will have cleared a year by this point, and The Miz picking up the victory will put a fresh face at the top of SmackDown.
