With just a day to go for the commencement of the highly anticipated ‘The Great Khali Returns Series’ tempers reached mercurial levels at the pre-event press conference, held to announce the conducting and officiating team of the two-day international pro-wrestling fight spectacle.

Shortly after the organizers of the event #CM4Youth, CM Harish Rawat’s youth outreach education to underprivileged children and OmReels Bioscope Private Limited, a specialist entertainment solutions provider announced the key conducting and officiating team of the fights including internationally famous referee Justin Breon King who is currently a part of the Global Force Wrestling event, international commentator Timothy Joshua Penman, renowned WWE and pro-wrestling commentator and ring announcer Joe Bath and Indian actress and presenter Gurbani Judge aka VJ Bani, The Great Khali lost his cool.
Reacting to an off the cuff comment about Khali being finished made by one of the international fighters, a visibly agitated The Great Khali lost his cool and re-stated his open challenge to all his detractors to talk less and come and meet him in the ring.
A visibly disturbed and highly emotional Khali said; “People keep making these empty threats and useless statements everyday. If they have the guts they should stop talking and come and meet me in the ring and then we will see who is who.”
“Just because we are Indians they think they are superior and can say and do whatever they want. They have not only challenged me but also the spirit of India and I am not going to let them win.
“I The Great Khali today promise all of you’ll that I will kick each one of their asses and not rest in peace till I do so. I today sign my own death warrant as a mark of this resolve. This to me now is far bigger than my own personal ego and is a matter of national pride,” concluded The Great Khali.
The Great Khali followed this up by writing his own death warrant on a piece of paper and signing it in full public glare. Also present at the event were Shri Ranjit Rawat, Chairman for The Great Khali Return Series, conveners of the #CM4Youth initiative Shri Haripal Rawat and Padamshree Jaspal Rana, the DM of Nainital Shri Deepak Rawat, international fighters and representatives of BSSS and OmReels and the media.
