WWE TLC 2015: 5 possible endings for the Sheamus vs Roman Reigns match

Reigns need a backer

Will Lesnar be back to reclaim what’s rightfully his?The Sheamus vs. Roman Reigns match was obviously going to headline TLC after what happened at Survivor Series. WWE made matters a bit more interesting when they made it a Tables, Ladders and chairs match. Thanks to this, we are bound to see these two men go through some tables, break some chairs and scale the ladder in an attempt to become the WWE champion. We only know that much. We know the match is going to be physical and we know that the match will headline the pay-per-view. But what about the ending? Here are some possible ways in which WWE could wrap up this match.

#5 The Boss is back

Reigns need a backer

If there is a powerful performer that WWE could use on the main event scene, it is Vince McMahon. The boss has been out of television for a long time now. The ratings are on an all-time low right now and Vince getting back on screen could bring back some eyeballs.

What he could do is, come out and back Roman Reigns at TLC.

This could lead to a power struggle between Triple H and Vince McMahon with Roman Reigns being the representative of Vince and Sheamus and League of Nations being the representatives of Triple H.

The aura of the Mr. McMahon character could do wonders and if WWE pulls this off at TLC, it would be a good storyline.

#4 What is rightfully his?

The rightful owner

Last year, this time around, Brock Lesnar was holding the WWE championship. Rollins then pinned Roman Reigns at WrestleMania to win the title from Lesnar but the fact is: Lesnar was never pinned for the championship. This means that Lesnar still deserves a go at the title.

He is bound to be in the WWE scenario on the Road to WrestleMania and introducing him at TLC will help WWE pick up business before Royal Rumble. He could go after Sheamus and Reigns at the same time and make the championship scenario into a three-way battle.

Imagine Lesnar tearing apart the league of nations.

#3 Roman Empire restarts

Roman empire restarts?

Reigns lived his dream of being the WWE champion for five minutes and fifteen seconds at Survivor Series. Sheamus cashed in the Money in the Bank briefcase successfully at the show and killed off the dream in style.

Now, at TLC, Reigns will have his chance to reclaim his title and his dream. A good portion of the fans is behind him now and if Reigns come across with a clean win, WWE could bank in on his popularity.

Heading into the WrestleMania season with Reigns as the champion could work in favour of the company. They could let Ambrose or Lesnar win the Royal Rumble and have a solid WrestleMania match in their hand.

#2 Sheamus gets some help from the Authority

The Authority could aid Sheamus

Triple H is one of the major backers of Sheamus right now. It was the distraction from Triple H that helped Sheamus win the championship in the first place and it would not be a surprise if Triple H comes to the aid of Sheamus once again at TLC.

Hunter could lay out Reigns and WWE could then build a feud between Reigns and Triple H for the WrestleMania season.

On a parallel, they could bring back Brock Lesnar and spark a feud between Lesnar and Sheamus with Lesnar as the babyface. Again, Lesnar could tear apart the league of nations on his way to Sheamus.

#1 Overbooking at its best

It is going to be chaotic

Overbooking can raise the bar if it’s done properly. We haven’t seen such matches in WWE for some time and if WWE could put together a solid match, it will get the fans excited. Now, we could see many interferences throughout.

The League of Nations are bound to get involved and this will bring out the Usos and Dean Ambrose. There will be a big mess from these people and amidst all of this, we will see Reigns and Sheamus fighting for the title.

In short, it is going to be chaotic. But if this chaos is controlled, WWE could put over Sheamus as the winner while making Reigns look good. As a stand out entity, a good overbooked match will make the fans talk.
