We're less than a day away from WWE TLC: Tables, Ladders, and Chairs. While the direction on WWE TV may not have been the best, with the PPV and the culmination of many feuds, things are going to take a drastic turn for the better.

We're approaching the end of the year and next month is Royal Rumble, where the road to WrestleMania officially begins. So one thing is for sure, the seeds will start getting planted for The Grandest Stage Of Them All.

Either way, what usually tends to go wrong with WWE is that the wrong superstars win. This frustrates the fans and makes them feel as though the entire direction of a storyline has gone to waste.

This is very likely to happen and it's possible that the wrong people will go over. We reveal 6 superstars who should not win under any circumstances and explain why.

#6 Charlotte Flair

It would be the biggest (or second biggest) disappointment of the PPV to see Charlotte Flair walk out once more as Women's Champion. She's had two different title runs this year alone and got the biggest rub there is by beating Asuka at WrestleMania 34 and ending her undefeated streak.

Thankfully, her second run was only to help elevate Becky Lynch. While Becky Lynch would be the obvious choice and favourite to win the match, Asuka would also be an acceptable alternative.

This is, however, only on the condition that there are bigger plans for Becky Lynch going ahead. She's been on an absolute tear as champion and no one would complain if she retained it. If Charlotte were to win again, however, then it would be extremely frustrating for fans, who would turn on The Queen even more.

Who do you think should walk out as SmackDown Women's Champion?

#5 Bobby Lashley

Elias has managed to organically turn face without any actual tweaks in his character. These are the best kind of turns. He's in a feud with Bobby Lashley now that's seen The Almighty Lashley dominate him throughout the feud.

The right payoff would be to see the younger star Elias win this one. It would give him all the momentum heading into the Royal Rumble next year. With Lio Rush making it practically 2-on-1, it would be an even bigger win for The Drifter.

#4 Nia Jax

Jax says her secret is her hand, her fist.

Nia Jax has been the most hated superstar in WWE ever since she punched Becky Lynch in the face, broke her nose and concussed her. This led to the dream match between Becky Lynch and Ronda Rousey to be cancelled, frustrating fans.

What's gotten them even angrier is the fact that WWE has used this not to punish Nia Jax, but to push her even more because of the "heat" she gets. Thankfully, the odds of her winning are less, but hopefully it becomes a dominant win for the RAW Women's Champion Ronda Rousey

#3 AJ Styles

This one may seem a bit controversial to fans, but let us explain why AJ Styles shouldn't win. Yes, he is the fan favourite, and storytelling 101 should dictate that the good guy ends up winning at the end of a story. With that being said, this may or may not be the end of their storyline.

AJ Styles has had a long, one-year run as WWE Champion, where he joined an elite club including John Cena, Randy Savage, Bruno Sammartino, CM Punk, Hulk Hogan, etc. in being one of the few superstars to be WWE Champion for a full calender year.

This "New" Daniel Bryan storyline has been a huge shake-up on SmackDown Live and has put a new twist to things when many fans complained about predictability. With that said, Bryan should be champion for longer (until WrestleMania atleast).

It's put a new lease on life and while it's odd seeing Styles without the WWE title, his time as champion is up...for now at least.

#2 Seth Rollins

Again, you're probably wondering why the hottest superstar on RAW at the moment shouldn't win. Rollins has undoubtedly been the star of the show and positioned himself as the ideal replacement for Roman Reigns as the company top star.

This is the exact reason why he should lose at TLC. For one, him losing doesn't mean that he's going down the card. It means the complete opposite. Him dropping the IC title can be a platform for him to go on to bigger things, such as potentially winning the Royal Rumble and main eventing WrestleMania.

Who better to drop the title to than Ambrose? The new side of Ambrose can see a refreshing run with the Intercontinental Championship and him winning would be the right call. As of this writing, Seth Rollins is rumoured to face Brock Lesnar at WrestleMania and the first step would be to drop the title to The Lunatic Fringe.

#1 Baron Corbin

There's no doubt that Baron Corbin in an authority role has shaken things up in WWE a bit. However, he was better off with limited power as the Constable, where he was assisting Kurt Angle.

As RAW GM-elect, he's brought back an "Authority" type-storyline, where a heel authority figure abuses his power against babyfaces. While it's nice to see him become a regularly featured star, the storyline has been done time and again, dating all the way back to the Attitude Era.

Post-WrestleMania 32 saw one great change: the end of heel authority storylines. Stories that don't have authority figures as central characters are far better for more reasons than one. They're better off as a prop in the stories rather than central figures (see: SmackDown Live lately).

Thankfully, the odds of Corbin winning are very less and TLC will likely see the end of his run as an authority figure.
