Daniel Bryan retained his WWE Championship against former Champion AJ Styles, but The Phenomenal One didn't make it easy for Bryan since he threw everything he had at Bryan, which included locking in a single leg Boston Crab but he seemingly underestimated the power of Bryan's legs.

Styles fell over as he tried to lock in the move before WWE tried to cover the botch by switching the camera angle, but it wasn't quick enough since it was made obvious that Styles had slipped and had to re-adjust his feet.
When the camera moved back over to Styles he had been able to get himself into a better position and lock in the move, but it was too little too late since the WWE Universe had already spotted that the former WWE Champion had botched his attempt at a submission manoeuvre.
