#4 Drew McIntyre should retain the WWE Championship at WWE TLC 2020

Will AJ Styles claim his third WWE Championship tonight at WWE TLC?

Before he puts his title on the line at WWE TLC, it should be mentioned how 2020 has been the year of Drew McIntyre. The Scottish Warrior kicked off this year with a face turn and a Royal Rumble victory. He then went on to WrestleMania 36 and defeated Brock Lesnar to win his first WWE Championship.

Since then, Drew McIntyre has defended, lost, and regained his WWE title. Since WrestleMania 36, he has defeated the likes of Bobby Lashley, Randy Orton, Seth Rollins, etc.

At WWE TLC, he steps into the ring with one of the best performers of all time, AJ Styles. However, the odds are completely stacked against Drew McIntyre as he looks to close 2020 as the WWE Champion.

Not only will Drew McIntyre find himself standing toe to toe with one of the most decorated wrestling Superstars of the last 15 years, but he will also have to worry about AJ Styles' gigantic bodyguard, Omos.

And if that wasn't enough, the match in question will be contested under TLC rules. Even though things aren't looking good for McIntyre tonight, he must find a way to secure a victory and go on to rekindle his rivalry with Sheamus.

The inevitable McIntyre/Sheamus feud needs the WWE title involved to add stakes to it.
