Brock Lesnar vs. Shane McMahon in plans for Royal Rumble

The physical confrontation between Shane McMahon and Brock Lesnar was a planned one and it might turn out to be the first move from WWE’s side to book the Lesnar vs. Shane McMahon match for Royal Rumble. Shane last wrestled against Undertaker at WrestleMania and since then, he has been restricted to the Authority figure role.

If this match does indeed go forward, it will be yet another cross-brand feud for WWE, which once again casts a shadow on the brand split. Also, now that Lesnar destroyed Orton, the believability of Shane McMahon being a threat to someone like Lesnar would be questionable.
