WWE Untold has become quite an interesting series on the WWE Network that allows WWE stars to tell the real stories behind some of the biggest moments that have happened in WWE history.

Past episodes have included Undertaker's WWE debut where he was able to tell the real story behind it and how he had no idea how Vince McMahon was going to book him when he made the move over to WWE to debut at Survivor Series back in 1990.

Almost 24 years later, Sting made his debut at the same show in 2014 and what then followed was almost a year of The Singer in WWE until his final match against Seth Rollins at Night of Champions in 2015.

As part of the most recent episode of the show Seth Rollins, Michael Hayes, Sting and John Cone were all able to tell the real story of what happened on that night in 2015 as well as the backstage stories leading up to Rollins' WWE Championship match against Sting.

#5 Only the people in the ring at Survivor Series knew Sting was coming out

Sting was always seen as one of the best wrestlers to have never stepped foot in a WWE ring, but all of that came to an end back in 2014 when Sting made his debut at Survivor Series and helped Team John Cena to overcome The Authority by taking out Seth Rollins and pulling Dolph Ziggler on top of him to force The Authority out of power.

It was the biggest shock of the year, given that this year also contained the end of Undertaker's streak, and it was a secret debut that lit up the WWE Universe in attendance that night.

Sting's debut was kept so secret that the only people in the company that knew about his interference were the people in the ring at the time. This includes Dolph Ziggler, Seth Rollins, Triple H, the referee and obviously Mark Carrano and Vince McMahon.

#4 When Rollins found out he would be facing Sting, he almost collapsed in his kitchen

Seth Rollins has always been a huge fan of Sting, when he was growing up he was one of the stars that he believed stood out in WCW and one of the reasons why Rollins chose to grow up to be a professional wrestler.

He stated himself that whilst he was dreaming about his WWE career, there were certain things that he thought could happen which included main eventing WrestleMania or winning the World Championship but there were other dreams that he had that were so far out of reality that he didn't dare to dream that they may happen just in case they couldn't.

Being able to face Sting was one of the things that was a dream for him that he never dared dream about, so when he got the call he was in his kitchen at home. He recalled that he had to grab onto his counter because he almost fell when he was informed that he would be facing his childhood hero at Night of Champions in 2015 with the WWE World Heavyweight Championship on the line.

#3 Sting recalled that the first buckle bomb was where the issues began

One of the biggest talking points coming out of Seth's match against Sting back at Night of Champions 2015 was the fact that many believed that the bucklebomb was the move that ended his career.

Sting himself was able to confirm this, but interestingly it wasn't the second bucklebomb that did all of the damage. Much earlier in the match, Rollins delivered an initial version of the move and Sting collapsed to the floor so that Rollins could attempt a pin. The Vigilante then went on to explain that following this move he couldn't feel his fingertips and his hands were actually burning.

He told the referee John Cone but later confirmed that he was OK to continue the match. The rest of the match was going well until the second bucklebomb, it was at this point that he went weak from the waist down and then collapsed when the champion went for a clothesline.

Sting was then attended to for a while whilst Seth recalled that he felt completely helpless, but Sting still finished the match before being taken to a local medical facility.

#2 Seth Rollins told Sting that he dressed up as him for Halloween, in the ambulance

After the match, Sting was able to walk to the back on his own despite having obvious neck issues and had to be told by Triple H to head to the hospital. Sting did as he was told and was put in the back of an ambulance in a neck brace which was when Rollins came over and checked to make sure he was alright.

Rollins couldn't get his words out as he panicked and shared the fact that he thought that he could be his fault before then spilling the fact that he dressed up as Sting for Halloween when he was a child. Rollins stated that he hadn't really been able to talk to Sting much up until that point so his brain thought that this was the perfect time to share it. Rollins had earlier confirmed that he dressed up as Sting's Crow character for Halloween so that he could scare all of his neighbors.

The former World Champion shared that this was his thinking and that at the time it was all he could think about before declaring that his brain was weird.

#1 Sting believes that he could still face Undertaker

One of the biggest reasons for the reaction that Sting received when the made his WWE debut, was because there was still a huge percentage of the WWE Universe that believed that the match between The Undertaker and Sting could still be on the cards.

Sting himself confirmed that all the way up until he announced his retirement, he was having second thoughts and even now if Undertaker or Triple H came up with a plan that saw him and Undertaker have one final match or even just a staredown then he would be available for it.

Sting believes that he's still in a position where he could step in the ring with The Undertaker and give the fans the fantasy match that is more than two decades in the making. Just talking about the match showed how passionate Sting was about giving the WWE Universe what they want and prived that regardless of what condition he is in physically he would still make sure he was able to be part of the match if WWE could make it happen.
