WWE updates on The Undertaker-Lesnar clash, Hulk Hogan, The Rock and more

Wrestlemania XXX main event?

- Brock Lesnar vs. Big Show: WWE has been planning to do Brock Lesnar vs. Big Show at the Royal Rumble pay-per-view. It was discussed back when Show was feuding with The Authority. The plan was for Show to be on top and go through Randy Orton and Triple H, but not win the title, but come out of the program as a strong main eventer. The idea was to make Show strong for Lesnar at the Rumble so Lesnar would look stronger for The Undertaker at WrestleMania XXX.

- Brock Lesnar vs. Undertaker: There has been some concerns regarding this match because Lesnar works such a physical style and Taker is in a really rough shape physically. This is why there was some talk of Sheamus facing Taker.

Another issue with Lesnar facing Taker is that a lot of Taker’s opponents, if not all, over the past several years have secretly worked out their match with him and practiced it. There was some concern over whether or not Lesnar would be willing to put in that much time preparing.

- The Rock: Rock has signed a contract to buy a $4.5 million home in Broward County, Florida. The 13,700-square-foot, five bed room, six-car garage home is being built in the Landmark Ranch Estates, just west of Fort Lauderdale. The house at 16715 Berkshire Court is scheduled to be finished in May and is being built by Landmark Customer Homes on 2.5 acres of land.

- Jerry Lawler: Lawler noted on Twitter that he spent New Year’s Eve at Hulk Hogan’s “Hogan’s Beach” in Tampa.

- John Cena & Hulk Hogan: John Cena is said to be teaming or aligning with Hulk Hogan for WrestleMania XXX. It also idicates that Hogan is close to a new deal with WWE.

Several ideas with Hogan have been discussed among WWE creative team, including Cena having Hogan in his corner for a singles match and Cena and Hogan vs. “The Real Americans” Jack Swagger and Antonio Cesaro.

- Roddy Piper & Hulk Hogan: WWE officials have also discussed bringing Roddy Piper in for WrestleMania XXX. Ideas discussed involving Piper include Cena and Hogan vs. Piper and another heel, Hogan and Piper vs. Swagger and Cesaro or Hogan vs. Piper in a Legends singles match.
