As reported earlier, Ricardo Rodriguez was released from the WWE after his contract was officially terminated on last Wednesday.
The official announcer for Alberto Del Rio was reportedly unhappy with his current role and WWE decided to refrain from renewing his contract which expired after SummerSlam.
F4WOnline reports that Rodriguez grew frustrated because the company did not utilise his character in any wrestling role after he parted ways with Del Rio.

He stated that he wasn’t interested in doing ring announcing roles any longer , which led to Ricardo getting a tryout around SummerSlam 2010.
