The Broken Hardys announced recently that they would be hosting a tailgate party outside the Camping World Stadium where WrestleMania 33 is being held. The party is conveniently scheduled to end exactly an hour before the WrestleMania events are scheduled to start.
It had already been well known that the Hardys were in talks for a WWE return, and we potentially have further evidence on the matter. Moments ago, an ‘official’ WWE vehicle was spotted outside the party, most likely to pick up the Hardys and take them to WrestleMania, which was happening only 10 minutes away.
Matt and Jeff Hardy had solidified their place in WWE during the Attitude Era and had furthered their careers during the Ruthless Aggression Era – the veterans of the Tables, Ladders and Chairs classics match along with The Dudley Boyz and Edge and Christian.
They recently came back to prominence at TNA with their “Broken” gimmick becoming really popular amongst wrestling fans. Their recent departure from TNA has sparked rumous of a WWE run.
Old school and hardcore fans of WWE will remember their epic feats jumping off of ladders and putting themselves as well as their opponents through hell. The Hardys are an iconic part of WWE’s history and even though they were not with the company in recent years, they are fondly remembered as one of the most daring tag teams of all time. Fans will definitely welcome them back with open arms.
