The Tonight Show With Jimmy Falon was graced by the presence of John Cena last night – who was on a pit stop to promote his upcoming movie ‘Sister’s’ that also stars Amy Poehler and Tina Fey.
Jimmy Falon asked the Cenation leader about his time off from the WWE and whether he used the time to relax and cool off a bit. Cena, in his trademark workhorse fashion, stated that he doesn't take time off to relax and spoke about his new hosting gig on FOX’s new reality show American Grit.
The entertaining segment of the show came when Cena added a comic touch to the proceedings. He sang his own version of Adele’s new hit “Hello’ and also reunited with his ‘inner child’. As expected, he Attitude Adjusted his inner child, in what came off as a hilarious segment.
Cena’s hiatus comes to an end in a couple of weeks as he is set to wrap up the filming of his new show American Grit by December 16th.
Earlier speculations pointed at Cena making a return at TLC, which incidentally airs from his hometown in Boston – but the speculations were put to rest as Cena won’t be make it to TLC in time which is scheduled for December 13th.
