WWE WrestleMania 33: 5 Interferences that we could see at WrestleMania

Could these superstars play a part in the matches at Wrestlemania?

Referees in WWE are fragile beings who get knocked out with the gentlest of physical activity or even a touch. This leaves the door open for other superstars to interfere and change the proceedings of the match at hand, as WWE fans know well. The referee invariably gets up after the in-ring action has transpired missing the interference from just moments ago. Needless to say, these interferences are an integral component of wrestling and a reason why we love the art, the philosophy, the drama and the magic of sports entertainment so wholeheartedly.

The big question heading into Wrestlemania is ‘will there be interference in any of the matches up and down the card?’ Several classic Wrestlemania moments involve interference, be it Seth Rollins cashing in his ‘Money in the Bank’ briefcase at Wrestlemania 31 or even DX and the nWo interfering during the Sting vs. Triple H encounter from the same show. What’s in store for us fans this year then? We look at five different possibilities from the show.

#5 Daniel Bryan (interferes in the Miz & Maryse vs. John Cena & Nikki Bella match)

We’re certain the whole build has been leading to something big

Daniel Bryan cannot wrestle again, at least for WWE. As a result, it is surprising that he has been involved in a feud with The Miz, who’s not only been copying his moves but has also been disrespectful towards the Smackdown Live General Manager.

We’re confident that The Miz and Maryse have something dastardly planned for the John Cena/Nikki Bella match considering how the match has been building up. We have a feeling that Daniel Bryan will come out to make things right and finally get retribution against his arch rival, albeit not in a one-on-one contest. In this way, Bryan would get to be part of another Wrestlemania moment, and the fans would pop big time for their beloved hero

#4 James Ellsworth (interferes In the multi-woman Smackdown Women's Title match)

Every jobber must do his job

Last year, the greatest wrestler of all time, Ric Flair interfered in the women’s title match at Wrestlemania and helped his daughter Charlotte Flair retain her championship. This year, the greatest jobber of all time, James Ellsworth could be in line to follow in his footsteps, for his beloved ‘friend who is a girl’ Carmella.

Starting as a pitiful babyface, Ellsworth has begun to act heelish these days. He could be the X-Factor that sways the balance in favour of Carmella and allows her to become Smackdown Women’s Champion for the first time. If this is the case, we wouldn't mind at all. He is better in this role than as a competitor.

Moving on...

#3 Gallows and Anderson (interfere in the Shane McMahon-AJ Styles match)

Could Styles be going clubbing at Wrestlemania?

Born in Japan, theirs is a friendship that has lasted continents and brand splits too. Luke Gallows and Karl Anderson, better known as The Club can play a significant role in the Shane McMahon vs. AJ Styles match, especially because Shane McMahon is not the best wrestler in the world. WWE hides the shortcomings of inferior workers with smoke and mirrors, with distractions and interferences.

The Club could integrate themselves into the match and help Styles pick up a win over his boss. Who knows? Maybe Styles can help the Club to retain the Tag Team Titles as well by interfering himself. We can’t wait to tune in and find out for ourselves, at the ‘Ultimate Thrill Ride’.

#2 Erick Rowan (interferes in the Bray Wyatt-Orton match)

Could Rowan be the X-factor that decides the outcome of the Wyatt-Orton championship match?

Erick Rowan has been out with an injury, and in the meanwhile, The Wyatt family has dissolved, thanks to the actions of a viper who loves to play with fire and burn homes to ashes. However, there could be one man still in the sway of Bray Wyatt- the evil Erick Rowan, who has reportedly been spotted in the Performance Center.

Randy Orton has a tough task ahead of him if this physically imposing monster shows up and costs him the WWE championship. Luke Harper could show up too, considering he has no Wrestlemania match, at least right now.

#1 Samoa Joe (interferes in the Triple H-Seth Rollins unsanctioned match)

Will The Destroyer destroy Seth Rollins, once again, at Wrestlemania?

Samoa Joe does not have a match at Wrestlemania. The match between Triple H and Samoa Joe is an unsanctioned fight. The components are in place, and we can say with certainty that Samoa Joe will interfere in the Triple H- Seth Rollins match. He’s the man who injured Rollins in the first place, and WWE will likely infuse this angle into the match if and when Joe does interfere in the grudge match. Be very careful, Rollins!
