Vince McMahon has made it clear multiple times that he does not view Kingston as a main event player, and while the New Day member might have finally gotten a shot at the big championship, this might, unfortunately, be the glass ceiling for him.
Daniel Bryan is one of the best in-ring athletes in WWE and already holds a singles win over Kofi Kingston, so it should not be a major surprise if he does vanquish Kingston's dreams at the grandest stage of them all.
While beating Kingston clean will undoubtedly make Bryan the number one heel in the business today, it will be the end of Kofi Kingston's meteoric rise to the top as well.
