Kurt Angle has devoted his life and limbs to what is known as the sports entertainment business. He is very beat-up at this point and can hardly go in the same way that he did during his prime. And therefore, while a lot of matches may look great on paper, they may not turn out to be that way when they actually take place.
Compare the match that Kurt Angle had with Samoa Joe on RAW to the classics the men had when they were in TNA. While some may say that Cena vs. Angle is a dream match, neither is really a young man, and the match could end up disappointing the WWE Universe.
This is precisely the reason why the Styles vs. Angle match came to such an early end. WWE doesn't want to expose Kurt Angle on the way out.
