Welcome to our daily transfer rumours round-up. Today’s gossip world sees Arsenal on the verge of completing the signing of a Ligue 1 striker while Real Madrid turn to Italian international to sort out their midfield conundrum.

Elsewhere Chelsea can finally complete the signing of their long-term midfield target after the player was officially put on sale. Meanwhile, we are yet to get anything concrete on Paul Pogba’s transfer to Manchester United.

On that note, here are the transfer news and rumours doing the rounds on July 26th.


Serie A

- Mino Raiola is meeting with Juventus later tonight to discuss Paul Pogba’s transfer to Manchester United. According to Di Marzio, the Old Lady first want to conclude a deal for Gonzalo Higuain before deciding anything on Pogba’s move to Old Trafford.

– According to Sky Italia, Mauro Icardi hasn’t ruled out leaving Inter Milan for Napoli after he commented - “we’ll see what happens”. Icardi has been linked with a move to Arsenal and Napoli this summer.

- Napoli are reportedly offering €25m for Corentin Tolisso, now Lyon must decide whether or not to sell. According to Gazzetta dello Sports, this is Napoli’s final offer who now await Lyon’s response.

Premier League

Ben Yedder has been linked with a move to Arsenal

- Arsenal are linked with Toulouse striker Ben Yedder, according to reports from Canal+. The 25-year-old striker has to choose between Sevilla and Arsenal as he nears an exit from Ligue 1. He scored 22 league goals last season and is valued at €10m.

- Stoke City forward Marko Arnautovic is odds on favorite to sign for Everton in the coming weeks after BBC broke the news of Ronald Koeman’s interest in the Austrian star.

- According to Przeglad Sportowy, Cracovia have accepted a £5m bid from Leicester City for Bartosz Kapustka and have given him permission to discuss personal terms. Apparently, Kapustka plays in a similar position to Riyad Mahrez, who has been linked with a move away from King Power stadium.

- As per Bild, Borussia Dortmund have dismissed reports that Pep Guardiola’s Manchester City are poised to offer at least £58million (€70m) for star striker Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang.

- Liverpool starlet Allan Rodrigues has officially completed a season-long loan to Hertha Berlin. He is widely expected to take on Brondby later this week in a Europa League qualifying match later this week.

- Manchester City target Leroy Sane has informed Schalke he wants to leave the club this summer, according to Sky sources in Germany. City are expected to complete Sane’s transfer in a reported €40million deal in upcoming days.

La Liga

- Barcelona have put Arda Turan on sale with Chelsea and Arsenal linked with the Turkish Superstar. According to Marca, Barca want to sign Luciano Vietto and for that they are keen to sell the €20m rated Turan.

- Real Madrid have turned their attention to PSG star Marco Verratti to complete their marquee signing of this window, according to reports from Football Italia. Los Blancos have dropped their interest in Paul Pogba after declining to match the €120m price tag put up by Juventus.

- Atletico Madrid are keen to sign goalkeeper Axel Werner this summer according to the Argentina under-23 international's current club, Atletico Rafaela. Werner is in La Albiceleste’ squad for Rio Olympics 2016 along with Real Sociedad goalkeeper Geronimo Rulli.

- Swansea City have agreed a deal with Olympique Marseille that will see Bafetimbi Gomis join the French club on a season-long loan deal. The Frenchman struggled at Liberty stadium last season and has been linked with moves to the Chinese Super League, MLS and Saudi League as well.

- Burton Albion have boosted their squad ahead of the Championship season by snapping up Lloyd Dyer, Ryan Delaney and Lee Williamson.

- Lyon have publicly turned down Arsenal’s €35m bid for striker Alexandre Lacazette. The news was confirmed by Lyon’s official twitter account with a detailed explanation.
