5 WWE questions that fans want answers to

Cesaro

Triple H and Stephanie McMahonWith SummerSlam around the corner, it is safe to say that WWE is going through a crucial period right now. WWE’s intentions for the biggest pay-per-view of the summer are still unclear. It will be sorted out in the coming weeks but apart from the SummerSlam plans, there are a lot of questions that WWE needs to answer. The way in which WWE deals with the questions mentioned in this list will have huge implications. 2015 has so far been solid for Vince McMahon and he needs to close it out on a high. Other promotions like Lucha Underground, TNA, Global Force Wrestling and Ring of Honor is catching up so there is no room for error. So here is a look at those questions that WWE should answer from its fans immediately.

#5 Cesaro\'s future?

Cesaro

Tyson Kidd’s injury came at the worst time possible. He was having a good run with Cesaro in the tag team division, but all that momentum came crashing down thanks to this injury. He will be out of action for almost a year. While Kidd will be taking time off for recovery, WWE will have to find Cesaro a new storyline. The Swiss Superman is too talented to be wasted till Kidd makes a return.

Letting Cesaro have the singles push that once got derailed will be a good option. He deserves to have a singles run for everything he does in between the ropes. Finding him a new partner to pair up with may also work out well.

#4 Is Ziggler Leaving or staying?

Dolph Ziggler

Dolph Ziggler has been the centre of a lot of rumours lately. The dirt sheets are suggesting a possible exit for the former World Champion and if they are right, WWE will have a big void to fill. According to the rumours, Ziggler is not happy with the push that WWE is giving him and is looking to leave the company. WWE has not officially responded to the rumour, but they should.

If Ziggler leaves, he has many options in front of him. All the companies would be willing to take him in and we could see some dream matches like Ziggler vs. AJ Styles. But if WWE wants to keep him, they should invest him in some solid angle.

#3 Should NXT be a brand?

Hideo Itami

Right now, many fans believe NXT is better than Raw and SmackDown combined. WWE still treats NXT as a developmental circuit. With names like Samoa Joe, Finn Balor, Hideo Itami, Becky Lynch, Sasha Banks and Charlotte, NXT deserves more exposure than what they get right now. The show is treated like a Network exclusive and instead of that, WWE should secure a television deal for NXT and push it as a brand.

Why? Because, Wednesday night is the place to be for wrestling fans. We have Lucha Underground, Ring of Honor, TNA and NXT on the same night and if WWE is going to keep NXT as a Network exclusive, the other companies are going to benefit. And it’s not something they could afford.

#2 When will Triple H take over?

Triple H

This question has huge significance. If there is anything that the WWE fans wish for, it is the retirement news of Vince McMahon. The way in which he steers the company is not making the fans happy while, on the other side, Triple H is winning over the crowd with NXT. Hunter has proved his worth as a promoter and it would be fitting if he takes over Vince.

The question is: when will Hunter take over? Some suggest that Vince is going to stay forever while there are some talks about a possible retirement coming up soon. There are some problems due to the power struggle in backstage, which eventually is hurting the product. The company should sort this out at the earliest and let one man completely control the entire creative direction.

#1 Will Daniel Bryan return?

Daniel Bryan

Daniel Bryan is the biggest headache of WWE right now. No one knows how his career is going to turn out. Some people suggest that his career is over while some suggest that there is still room for hope. Meanwhile, WWE has invested him in Tough Enough, but that is only a temporary fix. WWE needs to make a decision on what to do with Bryan as his fans are getting restless.

Considering Bryan’s fragile state, the best option for both parties would be a retirement. He would be risking his life if he gets into the ring again and WWE should not allow this. They, however, should keep him in the payroll and find him a fitting role in the company.
