5 WWE Superstars who will never be World Champion again

The title unification that WWE did back in TLC was one of the most interesting and confusing decision in the recent times. It was interesting because there werent much main event talent which could be split for two titles and it also made the title more worth since more than fifty wrestlers in the roster now had only one thing in mind rather than two.But the problem which accompanied was that the company now doesnt have anything to complement their veterans or give a push for the youngsters.Wrestlers like Daniel Bryan, Alberto Del Rio and Dolph Ziggler were benefited a lot from the two titles and since one is cut short pushes like this will be a rarity. The next phase of the problems is something more depressing. Some veterans and former main eventers will have no chance what so ever of getting their hands on the gold again and add some more stats to their illustrious career. So here is a look at some of those names who held the title in the past and would not get another chance to taste it in the future.

#5 Big Show

Show was tangled in the title scene earlier in the Survivor Series but that’s the closest he has come to getting the title for a long long time.

After that spell against Randy Orton and the Authority, Show soon fell down the ranks and ended up being a mid-carder than following up on his main event run. Show wasn’t interesting enough to be precise and with his age against him none can blame the WWE also.

Failure to evoke emotions in the fans and his age takes Show out of the title run for the rest of his career and the WWE fans is clearly not looking for the old school giants to hold the title.

For a man who held titles in WWE’s ECW, WCW and WWE, it’s a sad way to get off the radar but then again the fans don’t stick on to one thing forever and same applies for everyone no matter whom.

#4 Kane

After his decent run with Daniel Bryan as the one half of the tag team champions, Kane has been confined to the suit and was kept out of action for a long time.

On a regular situation, some one of his legacy would return to action with a big bang but Kane didn’t deliver anything of that sort as being the opponent of Daniel Bryan was the only thing he had to boast about.

Also in his 40s Kane has nothing left to offer to the world title picture and he has already come out and said that he is considering retirement.

Opening a new insurance company with his wife also hinted on the same thing.

Before his retirement Kane might have some mid card titles but the biggest price in the company is well beyond his reach. Hopefully he will stick around in a non-wrestling role for some more time since he has a lot to offer from his presence itself.

#3 Alberto Del Rio

Del Rio came into WWE as one of the biggest stars in Mexico and was stuck in the title picture ever since. The Title unification was the thing which took him out of the feuds surrounding the title which was great refreshment for Del Rio at that time.

But he soon was left without any credible feud and is now relegated as a midcarder in the company.

His gimmick has also grown stale over the time and the fans have classified him as one of the most boring wrestlers.

And there is no reason why WWE would put the title on someone boring in near future when potential holders like John Cena, Daniel Bryan and many more are on the line.

However, WWE is to blame for wasting this gifted technician as they leached everything he had to give in a hurry. There are reports that Del Rio is heading back to Mexico once his contract expires which further takes him away from the coveted gold strap.

#2 Rey Mysterio

The Ultimate underdog in the business, Rey Mysterio has always broken prediction in his own style. But this prediction is something he is unlikely to break since the WWE officials are likely to start laughing when considering Rey for the title.

With all respect to what he’s done over the career, the title run that WWE gave him a few years back was just a cheap way to cash in on the emotions that Eddie Guerrero’s death caused.

And having the title on Rey clearly made it look less worthy which will be a mistake that won’t be repeated by the creative team now that Triple H is spear heading the company.

Rey’s health is also a big concern and he has been struggling with injuries for a long time now. He has the ability to pull of some great matches but he is going no bigger than the Intercontinental title since the mid card needs him more than the main event.

#1 The Undertaker

Taker is someone who is fighting with his own body to keep doing what his soul wants him to do. His one match in one year run suggests that he is fighting a losing battle and Taker despite being such a big name has nothing to offer to the World Title.

Since he strictly follows the one match rule due to physical reasons, the chances of Taker having another title run is null.

If he is to win the title, he has to first win the title by defeating the current champion and would have to defend it every often which would shorten his career.

Or if the company chose the Royal Rumble path for Taker as well, after winning the title at WrestleMania he would have to drop it very soon which will further crash his status.

Saving Taker for that one legendary match is arguably the best thing that the company has now apart from Daniel Bryan and they wouldn’t risk that golden goose with a cheap title run making Undertaker the most notable former champion who could never win the title again.
