It was a night of ups and down but most of it was a positive turn of events. It was all enough to get any fan excited for Wrestlemania. There were some things that took place which we’ve seen before but most of it turned out to make the eventual matches more anticipated.WWE did a smart job of not having anything remotely close to what is supposed to happen at Wrestlemania, like not having Orton get his hands on Rollins or Undertaker make his first appearance since WM 30. Here are the five things WWE got right towards the final build up for Wrestlemania.

#1 The Divas Match

Splendid, splendid match! What’s even better is that just days before Wrestlemania they finally have a solid angle in place. The dynamic between the heels and the faces were played really well. The audience was totally into this match and all four women came out looking strong.

Nikki and Brie are the evil twins and it was only logical to have AJ and Paige have a misunderstanding. It’ll be quite a task to see how they work together against a well synchronized team like the Bellas.

This was a well-executed series of events and it was spectacular to watch.

#2 Bray Wyatt\'s Promo

Bray Wyatt for the umpteenth week in a row carried this feud with the impending return of The Undertaker now finally made official to be at Wrestlemania. Wyatt delivered a spectacular monologue. It was only amplified by the thunder and lightening in the background and the very participative audience.

Everybody’s excited about this match and even if Wyatt loses, there is much to be taken from the fact that he carried the build with a series of his trademark stellar promos.

#3 MANIA

Everything considered, this was one of those few segments where a celebrity appearance was well utilized. WWE has been on a roll since Jon Stewart made his appearance a few weeks back. Hulk Hogan returned to a massive ovation to put a stop to Axelmania and kick off SnoopMania and it worked.

It was fun and a cool moment.

#4 Rusev The Barbarian

Rusev may just lose his streak at Wrestlemania given that he looked really, really strong on the go-home show. He rendered John Cena unconscious again with The Accolade and it was preceded by a brutal attack. What began as a clear advantage for Cena ended up being right the opposite.

The thing to note is the missing appearance of Lana. Even if WWE plays the USA-Russia angle, Cena will still be booed. Lana’s appearance at Wrestlemania may be a game changer, it may get Rusev a win by hook or by crook.

Anyway, Rusev was captivating in destroying Cena on Raw.

#5 Sting\'s not here for some forgotten war

Triple H is yet to look strong in this feud but his wife Stephanie McMahon gave him some hope. She was at her spectacular best and before her coming out to humiliate Sting, the Vigilante made sure to get his point across in possibly his final appearance on TV before Wrestlemania. He’s not here to fight for WCW. He himself thinks that’ll be ridiculous at this point.

Standing firmly by his Vigilante character, he’s here to drive away the corrupt forces in the business- the prime one being Triple H. But what happens after, if, Sting wins, is the point. Nonetheless, WWE has built up enough anticipation.
