WWE RAW: 5 Things that could have been better

It was a very underwhelming edition of Raw compared to what Survivor Series had in store, from a hardcore fans’ perspective. But as far as casual fans go,it wasn’t half as bad.If WWE depended on some ruthless aggression or non-Pg era tactics at Survivor series, then they stuck to their PG ways on Monday. They tried to get viewers of both tastes to subscribe to the Network. Here are five things that could have been better.

#1 Daniel Bryan\'s return

Okay, so the Authority left the building but not before Daniel Bryan made his momentary return to WWE television. He was anointed by Cena to bethe GM for this week. And what did he do? He gave Rusev two choices- pledge allegiance to the USA or defend his championship in a Battle Royal and eventually nothing happened. None of the two happened.

Also, the main event consisted of a Handicap match between the team of Cena and Ziggler and Seth Rollins and two other members chosen by the audience. Why oh Why? How does a handicap match help things.

Mostly,it was a way to get jamie Noble and Joey Mercury to be on the recieving end of a beatdown. They were sure that the afns would vote for these two. But to make fun of these technically skilled wrestlers for their size is a bit too much for a hardcore fan to take

#2 Stinger, where art thou?

Sure, Sting did not make an appearance. Thinking that he’ll be the next power figure was a bit farfetched but there has to be a reason why he interrupted. is this his gimmick now, to be this savior against evil?

Maybe this might give him a certain mystique. Maybe he’s the new anonymous general manager. Who knows? But there had to be something that gave some indication or clue as to why Sting did, what he did on a fictional realm.

#3 The Spotlight on the Showstealer or not

Dolph Ziggler gave a performance that’ll be remembered for ages by whoever who watched the show. Some will cherish it, some will remember it as secondary to Sting’s debut, some will call it the highlight of this entire year or one of the biggest highlights ever.

On Sunday, Ziggler really showed the world what he’s capable of. But on Monday, he was involved in a pointless main event. It just felt too sunny on Raw tonight. Dark times have to come fast.

#4 Big Show\'s character

There is no longer a case of asking what is happening with Big Show’s character. he went through another heel turn, another repetitive promo and another repetive case of Creative has nothing for you.

It wasn’t at all interesting until Rowan made a statement of his own. But before that, Big Show was getting the ‘What’ treatment and quite deservedly so.

#5 Anonymous Raw GM

WHY?

This is plain annoying. Logic seems to have deserted WWE completely. How does a laptop situate itself right next to the announcers table without them taking notice of. The role of the Announcers in the WWE is seriously a joke. The Anonymous Raw GM is back, if you’ve forgotten that awful storyline where he was revealed, then you stay blessed.

Think, we have to wait and watch what happens.
