TLC ultimately couldn’t stand up to what the guys and girls at NXT Takeover R Evolution put up just a few days ago. Despite being a three-hour extravaganza, there were only a handful of moments that stood out. Those moments were powerful, but it could have served much better for the future if things were at least average. Some matches disappointed on a major level. Some things could have been so much better. Here are the five most disappointing moments from the PPV.

#1 Disqualification

In a PPV which is based off on extreme moments, drawing a result out of disqualification is the last thing that one could imagine or want. That is exactly what happened at the Tables, ladders, Chairs and Stairs PPV. Of Course, logic deserts WWE quite often.

Mizdow is still funny, but he’s not moving forward with this gimmick. His commitment to his role is what sells this gimmick so much. Miz and Mizdow are great in their gimmicks but things should lead somewhere, which did not happen in this match.

#2 SuperCena and the new SuperRoman

Sure, Roman Reigns is back and it is good news but SuperCena’s ‘underdog’ superman performance was only overwhelmed by the other superman’s, with a superman’s punch, return.

Rollins gave a solid performance but less than a week ago Reigns was limping to accept his award and now he’s back in full force. Cena won in his similar style, which is okay. What remains to be seen is how the other young superstars, especially Rollins, will be left with on raw with major momentum and spotlight predicted for Reigns.

#3 AJ vs Nikki Bella

This match was never expected to put on a show like Charlotte and Sasha Banks did. The crowd at NXT gave those women some major respect unheard by the main roster divas.

The chants went from ‘This Is Awesome’ to ‘This Is Wrestling.’ And in contrast to this Bella and Lee delivered a very lacklustre match. Creative is at fault. These two women could have put on a good match, but it just isn’t happening.

#4 Two Times is not a Charm

Rusev and Swagger went against each other for the second time. By that, I mean that this is their second feud in the same year. They had some good momentum on Monday but Swagger again succumbed to the Accolade.

It’s like the management has run out of opponents or creative decisions for Rusev. Rusev’s gimmick is working, but it doesn’t help when he is put into a repetitive mode with feuds.

#5 Ryback vs Kane

Possibly, this was expected. No chemistry and even the match had not much into it. The Chairs stipulation was nothing special. It really wasn’t and was never expected to be. The Big Guy’s momentum has suffered since Survivor Series.

He’s been having many a victories but his reputation amomg the hardcore fans has taken a huge dip since CM Punk revealed his issues with Ryback on the Art of Wrestling podcast.
