The WWE fans that have an appetite for rumors and speculation were served well in the week after Night of Champions. As usual it was the future of WWE that found a place in the spotlight when the possibility of a new signing made poked up of nowhere.Steve Austin was in the mix once again after the rumors of facing John Cena at WrestleMania 31 surfaced last week.WWE’s look for a newer version of Undertaker might’ve come to an end at NXT as they are lining up a youngster in the developmental to step in.Lesnar was another big name that featured in this week’s rumors. Here is a look at the best rumors of the week and how all these could impact Vince McMahon’s product.

#1 Hell in a Cell card

Considering how bad Night of Champions was, the company will be feeling the pressure at Hell in a Cell. No matches have been booked for the pay-per-view yet, but there are many rumors making the rounds regarding the same.

WWE fans will apparently get to see a match between John Cena and Dean Ambrose opening the show with the winner getting his chance to face Seth Rollins inside a Hell in a Cell while the loser would go up against Randy Orton.

This makes sense with the lack of main event stars in the company and Lesnar might take a miss from the pay-per-view as well which is a big blow for the company.

The Authoritys tussle with Cena and Ambrose could then be built up to Survivor Series for a traditional elimination match.

#2 Steve Austin returning to WWE television

Steve Austin being booked for next years WrestleMania to face the Cenation leader was one of the biggest rumors that came out last week. This rumor was fueled by the fact that WWE was pushing Austin merchandise but now, it has taken a wild u turn.

This sudden interest in Austin might just end up in him returning to the WWE television soon in some semi- regular role in order to help the ratings a bit.

The match is still pretty much in the books as well meaning that the fans would be getting a bonus with the TV role.

With the authority in full force, WWE has a lot of options to invest Austin in, making it an intriguing scenario.

#3 Brock Lesnar is having problems with his heart

After retaining his title at Night of Champion in a bizarre fashion, Lesnar was not seem anywhere on the Raw that followed and the internets explanation for the same is that the Beast is suffering from heart problems.

Lesnar was seen incredibly red during his matches and was also sweating a lot. His big structure might be working against the Beast according to the rumors and WWE is not going to take any risks with their champion by rolling him out at every show.

However, the other side of the story says that Lesnar simply didnt give dates for this weeks Raw. His appearance for Hell in a Cell is still pretty much up in the air, and things would be clearer once the pay-per-view card develops.

#4 Adam Cole in the WWE radar

After securing the services of Kenta, Prince Devitt, Adrian Neville, Sami Zayn, Kevin Steen and many other Indy darlings, WWE has turned their attention to yet another. This time, the lucky one seems to be former Ring of Honor World Champion, Cole who has been one of the mainstays in ROH since their roster was a bit depleted with WWE raids.

Apart from ROH, he has experience in CZW, PWG and various other promotions in the United States meaning that Cole wouldnt have much difficulty to fit into the WWE system.

Also, unlike most of the other Indy stars WWE has signed recently, the in ring moves of Cole is a bit toned down which makes him ideal for a midcard run in Vince McMahons promotion.

#5 Baron Corbin to get Undertaker like push

Baron Corbin wasnt treated like a big star in NXT a few months ago, but things have apparently turned upside down, he has impressed the backstage official with his in ring work and sheer size.

His squash win over CJ Parker at Takeover 2 was only the start for this push and everyone who saw the match wouldve sensed Corbin being built up as another version of the Undertaker.

Apparently thats the plan that WWE has in their mind since the star power in NXT still revolves around Indy talent rather than the ones brought up by the company.

Corbin is working longer matches in house shows and has full freedom in his Twitter account to build his character, signs that say a lot about the push he is getting.
