5 Twists that can happen on the WWE RAW before Fastlane

What twists could we see on RAW tonight?
What twists could we see on RAW tonight?

This week's episode of WWE RAW comes from the Wells Fargo Center in Philadelphia, PA. We have a stacked show this week to follow last week's episode which ended with the return of 'The Animal' Batista to the WWE. It's clear that Batista will be facing Triple H at WrestleMania so what could WWE have planned for this angle for tonight's RAW?

We also have the case of the vacant RAW Women's Championship to address. How will WWE deal with this situation going ahead and will Becky Lynch invade Monday Night RAW once again?

Lastly, Roman Reigns made his return to RAW last week and informed fans that his leukemia was in remission. Will Reigns be on RAW tonight and if he does, how could WWE book him?

#5. Ronda Rousey and Becky Lynch attack Charlotte Flair

Last week on RAW saw two stunning developments in the same segment. First of all, Becky Lynch was arrested and led out of RAW after invading the show once again. This led RAW Women's Champion Ronda Rousey to not only sympathize with Lynch but she also demanded that Stephanie McMahon reinstate Becky so the two of them could face each other at WrestleMania, After Stephanie refused, Rousey lay down the title and left.

The following night on SmackDown, Charlotte Flair announced that she would be coming to RAW tonight and staking her claim for the title saying that she was the best choice for champion since she was best for business.

If Charlotte Flair does show up on RAW tonight, I can see WWE have Becky Lynch and Ronda Rousey join forces for a night and take Charlotte out backstage. This would finally lead WWE to book a triple threat match at WrestleMania.

#4. Lio Rush turns on Bobby Lashley

Will Lio Rush finally have enough of Lashley?
Will Lio Rush finally have enough of Lashley?

WWE have sort of been teasing this for the last few weeks but the go-home RAW before Fastlane could be the episode where WWE finally pull the trigger on Lio Rush turning on Bobby Lashley.

A few weeks ago at WWE Elimination Chamber, Finn Balor pinned Lio Rush to win the WWE Intercontinental Championship in a handicap match. After the match, an enraged Bobby Lashley slammed Rush and it looked like it was going to be curtains for their partnership. However, they were back together the following night on RAW despite this initial tease.

Last week on WWE RAW, we saw Finn Balor give Lio Rush a title shot, a match that Rush lost despite an impressive performance. Lashley accused Rush after the match of going into business for himself and getting a title shot.

There is a chance that Lio Rush has enough tonight and turns babyface and attacks Lashley. This could lead WWE to book a triple threat match for the Intercontinental Championship at WWE Fastlane.

#3. RAW special guests get attacked

This week's episode of RAW will have two special guests. They are SNL “Weekend Update” hosts Michael Che & Colin Jost. The duo will be on RAW tonight and WWE are mentioning it on their official preview ahead of RAW. This means that the guests could be a part of the show in some way, hopefully not on commentaries like Ashton Kutcher and Danny Masterson were.

One way WWE could integrate them as part of the show is two have someone attack them and who better than the top heels on RAW - Drew McIntyre, Elias, and Baron Corbin. They attacked Dean Ambrose last week along with Bobby Lashley and there's no reason why they could dish out a couple of moves to Che and Jost to get some heat. WWE could even build on this. More on this in slide #1.

#2. Batista does NOT show up

Batista returned on RAW
Batista returned on RAW

This biggest story from last week's episode of WWE RAW was the return of 'The Animal' Batista. Batista showed up backstage right before Ric Flair's 70th birthday celebration while everyone was waiting for the 'Nature Boy' inside the ring. He went to Flair's dressing room and laid him out before dragging him back out into the corridor and sending a message to Triple H.

This all but confirms Triple H versus Batista at WWE WrestleMania 35. However, don't be surprised if Batista does not show up on RAW tonight. Why would WWE do this?

The biggest reason if Batista does not show up will be to not take the spotlight away from WWE Fastlane next Sunday. Triple H and Batista is set for WrestleMania after all and just a promo from Triple H calling out Batista should be enough for tonight's RAW.

#1. Dean Ambrose saves Seth Rollins and Roman Reigns

Will The Shield reunite on WWE RAW?
Will The Shield reunite on WWE RAW?

Like we mentioned in slide #3, a number of WWE heels could attack the special guests on RAW. This could lead to Seth Rollins and Roman Reigns coming out to make the save.

However, with the numbers game against them, McIntyre, Elias, and Corbin could overpower them. This would finally lead to Dean Ambrose coming out to even the odds with his Shield brothers. This would not only end Ambrose's dismal run as a heel but also achieve something else.

In case Dean Ambrose is still leaving WWE after WrestleMania, this gives fans a chance to see the Shield standing tall once more. This also gives us a great main event for WWE Fastlane with The Shield teaming up once again to take on Drew McIntyre, Baron Corbin, and Elias. That would definitely hype fans up for Fastlane.
