After last night’s SmackDown taping at Boston went off air, Bray Wyatt challenged John Cena to a match just minutes after defeating Big Show in the night’s main event. Entered Corporate Kane who made it a handicap match between Cena and the Wyatt Family. But this announcement was overruled by Vickie Guerrero who turned it into an eight-man tag team match between the team of Wyatt Family & Kane and John Cena & The Shield.
Cena and The Shield hit their finishers on their opponents and won the match to end the night on a high note. Post-match, Cena cut a promo and celebrated with his one-time foes as all four men did The Shield’s signature fist pose.
This surprise match helps all Kane, Wyatt Family, Cena and The Shield in improving the much needed momentum for their WrestleMania feuds. Let’s hope that WWE makes amends for the slow development of their feuds in the final week before WrestleMania and make the show worth watching.
