WWE Rumours: Triple H wants Alberto Del Rio out of the WWE

Del Rio out of favour with Triple H?

There have been many rumors surrounding WWE Superstar Alberto Del Rio over the last few months. When he returned to the WWE last year beating John Cena for the WWE United States title, most expected WWE would use him quite well. They knew Del Rio was certainly worthy of a good paycheque, but he was not worthy of the money top guys make.

Going into the draft, WWE Chairman Vince McMahon did want to push Alberto a few times, but Triple H rejected the idea of it, and Vince went along with what The Game had to say. It is rumoured that Triple H is at odds with Del Rio and feels that he is tough to do business with. New updates seem to suggest that Del Rio may be leaving the company at the end of his one-year contract.

Apparently, Triple H felt that Del Rio’s contract status was an issue, and pushing him then would require WWE to put out more money to keep him.

In a developing story, it was just rumored that The Game does not like Alberto Del Rio. Triple H is said to be the primary reason behind the heat on Alberto Del Rio and he is reported to have taken his case to Vince McMahon, telling that WWE should part ways with the Mexican superstar.

His reasons state that Del Rio parties too much and is a bad influence on girlfriend, Paige. Given that Paige is only 23 years old, and has a bright future ahead, WWE would want to keep Del Rio’s influence on her to a minimum.

However, many believe that if the Mexican leaves the company, Paige might follow. Currently, Paige has been missing from Monday Night RAW due to an injury. It is interesting to note that the two were split in the WWE Draft, being the only couple to meet such a fate. Paige was drafted to RAW, while Alberto Del Rio went to SmackDown Live. Paige had also removed Instagram images of her and Del Rio around the same time.

WWE now has to cater to Del Rio to keep him, and it is doubtful they will do so despite SmackDown needing more mid-card heels. With the possibility of Alberto Del Rio leaving and Paige may be following suit, there is some worry that Triple H’s bias toward Del Rio may cost the company in a time when they really need both superstars.

While WWE will go on without Del Rio or even Paige, as people leave all the time, the issue is that both have a certain role and losing even one of them could be tough in the current brand split situation.
