Goldberg makes an appearance

Goldberg returns to RAW, Brian Kendrick defends his Cruiserweight Championship against TJ Perkins tonight, Charlotte is on the show for her post-HIAC celebration. RAW comes to us live from Hartford, Connecticut as the fallout show for the Hell in a Cell and big things will certainly be set in motion for Survivor Series tonight.

Being that it’s a Halloween special, the return of Boogeyman and some other special appearances might very well happen.

Segment: Goldberg makes an appearance

RAW kicked off with Goldberg making an entrance through the backstage much like the last time he was on RAW. The crowd chanted his name in unison as his old WCW theme is played in the arena. Paul Heyman interrupted Goldberg just as he had started to cut his promo. He notified the crowd that Brock Lesnar was not ‘appreciative’ of them chanting Goldberg’s name.

Paul Heyman told Goldberg that he had brought ‘significant backup’ with him, referring to Brock Lesnar as an ‘impatient beast’. Paul Heyman then told Goldberg that Brock Lesnar wanted to face Goldberg on RAW itself.

Brock Lesnar’s theme song played but he didn’t make an appearance. Paul Heyman joked about how he made a fool out of everyone and told Goldberg that the look of disappointment on his son’s face would be even worse at Survivor series when Brock Lesnar destroyed him.

Just as Goldberg was about to hit Paul Heyman, Rusev came out and told Goldberg that he didn’t think Goldberg was a superhero because superheroes didn’t exist. He also accused Goldberg of not having the heart to fight anymore.

Rusev then landed a cheap shot on Goldberg’s face, which Goldberg completely no-sold and ended up attacking him back, slightly botching an offence by slipping in the ring. After landing a few strikes, Goldberg then managed to put Rusev through a jackhammer and immediately speared Paul Heyman right after, much to the delight of the crowd.
