WWE Rumours: Bubba Ray Dudley, Boogeyman and Adam Rose returning to WWE

Vince McMahon had promised WWE will have the biggest roster this year

Ever since the brand split, the WWE has witnessed the return of numerous Superstars with Goldberg being the biggest of them all. However, three former WWE Superstars namely Boogeyman, Bubba Ray Dudley and Adam Rose could also be on their way back to the WWE.

According to a report on Inquisitr, earlier in the year during a conference call with WWE shareholders, Vince McMahon had claimed that this year will boast the largest roster in the history of the WWE. While this would not be achieved only with returning Superstars, promotion of talent from NXT would also play a huge part in this and the same has been evident with the main roster debuts of some Superstars including WWE Universal Champion Kevin Owens, Finn Balor, Bayley among others.

Bubba Ray Dudley – who left the WWE with his Dudley Boyz partner D-Von Dudley on the Raw after SummerSlam – has teased a return to the WWE, on Twitter, at next year’s Royal Rumble which will be held at the Alamodome in San Antonio, Texas. The former WWE Tag Team champion could make an appearance with his heel persona – Bully Ray. His Dudley Boyz teammate – D-Von – is already back in the WWE albeit in a non-wrestling capacity as was evident by JBL’s tweet last week.

Here is what Bubba Ray Dudley tweeted which sparked the rumours of his return:

Here is JBL’s tweet confirming that the D-Von was present backstage during last week’s Raw:

Along with that, it has also been reported that Boogeyman – who has recently been turning down offers from independent wrestling promotions – could be on his way back to the WWE and further reports have even suggested that his return could be as early as next week’s Raw, which will be a Halloween special episode.

The third Superstar expected to return to the WWE is none other than Adam Rose – who has had a turbulent year so far to say the least. Rose was released by the WWE earlier this year after getting arrested for domestic violence and also violating the company’s Wellness Policy for a second time. He currently wrestles under the ring name – Aldo Rose – on the independent circuit but in a recent tweet he hinted that a WWE return could be on the cards.

Here is what Rose tweeted:

It will be interesting to see if WWE can pull off the return of these three Superstars along with some others.
